Have you been injured in an accident at work?

If you have then you are probably entitled to claim compaensation for those injuries. Certain types of accident at work prohibit the employer from arguing that he has a defence. Those accidents relate to the use of work equipment. Therefore, if you have been injured whilst using work equipment there is a likelihood that your employer will be liable for those injuries.

What is work equipment?

Anything that your employer provides for you to be able to carry out your employment from desks, to filing cabinets and even the kettle, microwave and fridge. As you can see the definition of work equipment is very wide and encompasses most items of equipment.
