Craig Jones was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court on 1 October 2003 having previously trained and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1993.
Craig has dealt with hundreds if not thousands of legal matters to date. Craig has considerable experience of both civil and criminal advocacy drawn from regular and numerous court appearances. Craig spent a number of years working in the in house legal department of a local authority and a large water company. He also ran a litigation consultancy company for three years to provide solicitors with services in the field of personal injury and housing law.
The thing he enjoys most is achieving justice for his clients and getting to the truth of matters by meticulous and thorough investigations.
Working at the large organisations, there is a high level of accountability and high standards are required. Corporate clients can be particularly demanding and Craig has developed his work methods to provide a high level of client care and meeting or exceeding clients' expectations. His clients can therefore expect a high level of service incorporating regular updates, clear concise advice, along with reassurance and positive constructive analysis of their matters.
Craig moved into private practice to give him the opportunity to act on behalf of individuals as well as corporate clients. Jones Gough came into being as both Mark and Craig were committed to customer service and putting their clients' needs at the heart of the practice. They wanted people to be happy with their service and to recommend them to others. They also wanted the firm to have a small, friendly, local feel where clients could speak to a solicitor who would know their case and not treat them like a number.
Craig finds it particularly satisfying to get justice for a vulnerable individual who would otherwise have lost out.
